Don't expect an immediate flood of traffic, but since you are sending out emails for business anyway, or if you regularly post in a forum, then you shouldn’t let the opportunity of adding a signature file to these kinds of communications go unanswered.

Girasole Announces Departure from Precision Web Marketing

Starting a business of my own has been a dream of mine as long as I can remember. As I prepare to move on from the company, I can’t help but reflect on my original intentions and goals for the business, and must say I am so proud of what we have been able to accomplish.

Seven years ago, pregnant with my first child, I made the decision to offer a new service that focused on marketing other businesses on the Internet. I hoped to partner with existing web development firms, and make a living working from home, and using my talents as a marketing communications expert. I was fortunate to have connected with Steve and ...

Precision and Constant Contact Care For Kids
Precision Web Marketing - Michelle Girasole By Michelle Girasole on 6/17/2008 12:54 PM

It always feels great to do a good deed. Especially when the recipient is an organization that touched your life as a young person. At Precision, we recently had the opportunity to give a little back to an organization that I truly benefited from as a teenager, the Boys and Girls Club. We’re pleased to announce that we have sponsored BGC of Providence under the Constant Contact Cares4Kids program.

Through Cares4Kids, Constant Contact will waive the monthly fees for the use of its web-based email program. And the Precision team has contributed marketing communications strategy, setup and training classes at its learning center, to assist the BCG of Providence staff in its campaign to reach out to “alumni”, or adults who once frequented the clubs in their youth.

Michelle is part of the Every Company Counts “Ask the Experts” panel .  Recently she was asked the question below from a participant and we’d like to address that here with our readers as well.

Question:
“We've tried a mix of advertising mediums including print, radio, and lately Google AdWords.  Results have been mixed.  We've been reading a lot about internet advertising and affiliate programs.  There seem to be a lot of options.  Our question - What is your recommendation for a small company to market themselves nationally on the Internet?”

Response:
You are absolutely right. There seem to be as many options for marketing to customers on the Internet as there are Internet customers themselves!& ...

The following is a speech that I have prepared to present at a hearing up at the State House in protest of the "Economic Growth and Fairness Act of 2008".  Growth and Fairness...what a joke.

My name is Michelle Girasole, and I am one of those “knowledge economy entrepreneurs” you are trying to attract to the state. I was actually born in RI, learned business from my own family of business owners, and received my education here with a marketing degree and M.B.A. from the
University of Rhode Island.

My website doesn't "work". What should I do?
Precision Web Marketing - Michelle Girasole By Michelle Girasole on 3/10/2008 4:34 PM

One of the most common questions we get asked by prospects is this one:

"I have invested a lot of money in my website, but it is not generating any sales activity for my business. What should I do?"

Before spending any more money on your website, I recommend that you spend some time paying close attention to two specific areas: website marketing and website sales. Website marketing is the activity that drives visitors to your website. Website sales is your site’s ability to turn those visitors into prospect leads or customers.
