It always feels great to do a good deed. Especially when the recipient is an organization that touched your life as a young person. At Precision, we recently had the opportunity to give a little back to an organization that I truly benefited from as a teenager, the Boys and Girls Club. We’re pleased to announce that we have sponsored BGC of Providence under the Constant Contact Cares4Kids program.

Through Cares4Kids, Constant Contact will waive the monthly fees for the use of its web-based email program. And the Precision team has contributed marketing communications strategy, setup and training classes at its learning center, to assist the BCG of Providence staff in its campaign to reach out to “alumni”, or adults who once frequented the clubs in their youth.

I, for one, count myself among that crowd. It was on Tuesday nights at the club, that my parents used to drop me off to get my first experience on the volleyball court. These fun evenings with my girlfriends and some patient local adults who taught us the basics of the game, laid the foundation for my love of a sport I am still active in today. (Sometimes it is my only exercise for the week, mind you!)

So, thank you, Boys and Girls Club, and best of luck to Dave Bodah and his team in their fundraising campaigns. And a big thanks to Zak Barron and our wonderful partners at Constant Contact, for their generous program that helps all of us “care for kids”.
